Wow, the years pass fast. I have been on DeviantArt for 9 colorful years now. I remember joining back in middle-school only because a friend kept threatening to beat me up if I didn't join. I have enjoyed it all these long years, but later on as you'll notice I started slacking on my uploads. I lost the ability to scan my art for a couple years there and then got busy in the game called life. I got married, had children, and moved to another state. I started getting artiscally popular in the town I lived in before moving to another state, so now I've been working on finding the right time balance between my life and my art, as well as try to slowly catch a name for myself here in my new home. I am happier than I have been in a long time and maybe I'll be posting more things here on DA.
My art style, as anyone's does, has developed over many years. In late elementary school I was truly submerged into the world of comics, or at least partially dipped on parental-visitation weekends. I started with trying to emulated some of my favorite comic artists at the time, until I was introduced to the wonderful world of manga in middle school. I admit I was a late bloomer with anime and manga compared to other people my age, but I fell head-over-heels for it. the basic creative look have saturated my artwork every since. Mainly my art mediums consist of the ballpoint pens that can be purchased at the dollar store, pencils for the sketch, and acrylic paints that usually is applied to look like watercolor. Sometimes I play with other things like watercolor pencils or crafts. I have dipped my hand into graphic design and turned that into a job locally for me, and of course I absolutely love designing for clients, sometimes my art will be used for clients and sometimes I make my own products using my art.
